The Future for You: Be a Cyber Security Champion

On the 23 Feb 2016, two of our DISM Year-3 students, Daniel Ho and Muhd Mikail Jamil attended a special event organised by the Cyber Security Agency (CSA). The event, entitled "The Future for You: Be a Cyber Security Champion", was part of the SGFuture enagagement series by CSA.

The event allowed the youth to explore the future possibilities that the cyber security industry has to offer. Our students, Daniel and Mikail participated in the event and provided their views and input to the engagement session.

The Guest-Of-Honour was Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, Minister for Communications and Information and Minister-In-Charge of Cyber Security. .

"The engagement session was great. It revolved around how does one prepare to be a cyber security professional, and how do we increase awareness about cyber security among the public, and engaged both professionals and students to discuss," said Mikail.

It was indeed a fruitful event for the students.
